I created this workshop yeeeears ago, and I’ve had some stirrings of folks wanting to do it again. So, whether this is your first time or you’re an old pro, I welcome you to join us for a day of painty play! The original sample was quite large and if you prefer to work bigger – go for it! For the sake of fitting in the camera frame, I’ll probably work on an 11” x 14” canvas wood cradle. We obviously have some new transfers and products available now, so I welcome you to bring them into the fold! I’m working with Butternut Hollow to create some awesome new typography stencils for us, and this class is just perfect to break them in (details TBD).
Class Supplies:
·        Acrylic Paints &/or Chalk Paints
·        Optional: IOD Transfer (I will be using Flowers by the Poets & perhaps some gold gilded transfers might be fun too)
·        Mixing Palette (plastic or even a paper plate with do)
·        Permanent Ink Pad (I used Archival in Jet Black) – only necessary if you’re stamping
·        Scissors or Paper Trimmer or a ruler for tearing your papers
·        Stencils (Doile or whatever stencil designs you like)…for text options, see below
·        Optional (for typography) – I am working with Butternut Hollow to design some awesome fall typography stencils for this class. The links will be posted in the messenger classroom, as soon as they are available.
·        Tsukineko Walnut Crystals and a small travel sized water bottle
·        Magazine Pages, old envelopes, cardstock, scrapbook paper, vintage paper, paper doilies – anything to create your decoupage backgrounds
·       Canvas (I’ll probably do an 11x14 wood canvas/cradle)

Classroom/Class Outline/Intellectual Property
Facebook Messenger Classroom - We have a private Facebook Messenger group for each of my online classes. If we are not “friends” already on Facebook, please send me a friend request here. I will add you to this Messenger group. It’s a place to communicate with fellow students, share work, and ask questions.
If you are a brand new student with me, you will receive an email from Lexi.Grenzer@gmail.com, which will include your first class outline. It is EXTREMELY important that you send me a friend request on Facebook, as we use FB Messenger for all class communication. Once we are “friends” on FB, I will add you to this private Messenger group. Keep in mind that I create a new messenger group for each and every one of my classes. In this messenger string, the very first message in the group will include your class outline, a zoom link for joining the class and any pertinent class information. Once you have taken at least one class with me, I will no longer send your class outlines via email. You will automatically be added to the corresponding FB Messenger classroom, where you will find all class details. If you have any questions, please always feel free to shoot me an email – I’m here to help whenever I can.
Please do not license the content created in my classes, duplicate/copy or reteach the classes/content (online, in person or via recording). These courses are intended for your own personal growth, and I’m delighted to share my love of art with you
