What: Step by Step Guided Card Making Lesson

Watercolor lovers, newbies, seasonal fans and paper crafters, I have a fun workshop just for you!! Join me for a three hour workshop and make cards, using all the oldie (and some new) but goodie techniques and supplies! We are going to create awesome textural backgrounds, incorporate ombre embossing powder finishes and watercolor our cards. These could be free standing art pieces, cards, and framed art/gifts – don’t feel like you have to make cards alone. There are no kits for this class, however I am fully stocked on the Pink & Main goodies that I’m using in my class. Feel free to switch things up, and simply use the supplies you have on hand.
Class Supplies:
· Watercolor paints – starting from scratch? On a budget? Try the new KEEF watercolor sets on my website here
· Pencil & eraser
· Micron pens 01 (black or brown ) or Sharpie Fine Tip or Carbon Ink Fountain Pen
· Palette for mixing colors (this could be a small kitchen saucer)
· Watercolor brushes Round 18/0, 2 and 6
· Heat tool or hair dryer
· Art tote or rigid surface to tape your watercolor paper down to
· Water bottle (mister is best)
· Clear Embossing Powder Pen (I like WOW!)
· Waterproof black stamp ink pad
· Double sided sticky tape or glue stick
· Bone Folder or Embossing Stick or Transfer Stick
· Palette Knife
· Embossing Powders, Pink Champagne, Sangria & Peaches & Cream
· Valentine Stamps (these are the ones I’m using) – Love Language & My Heart Smile
· Optional – Corresponding Dies to your stamps, if applicable – My Heart Smile Dies
· Valentine themed or other stencils (this is the one I’m using)
· Fussy Cutter Scissors
· Ranger Texture Medium Sampler (three jars)
