We all love a good display or vignette, and sometimes all it takes is a few oldie but goodie supplies. In this workshop, I will walk you through how to create your own faux vintage frame, which also serves as agreat art display. Show off pages of old book paper, family photos, art, the options are endless.
This is a great beginner IOD workshop for learning your way around a silicone mold, how to adhere the molded elements, painting & ageing/distressing.
Supplies:
- Frame
- Silicone mold (Bird Song)
- Titebond
- Brush (1” flat wash)
- Airdry Clay
- Corn starch
- Chalk paint
- Palette knife
- Acrylic Paints (ultramarine blue & burnt sienna)
- Ruler
- Staple gun
- Jute or Burlap twine
