Join me for some next level acrylic classes and get comfortable with blending and blurring the line of what’s expected! Let me show you fun ways to mix color that don’t require a color wheel. Sometimes we just want to have fun and paint, and all the rules just get confusing – so let’s do it! Each week we’ll tackle something different, and I think I’ve got something for all us to enjoy!

  1. Butterfly
  2. Pear
  3. Bird
  4. Flowers

Can’t make class date and time? No worries, as usual the lessons will be recorded and available for download!

  • Acrylic Paints (a wide variety of basic acrylic paints is fun, but use what you have, even chalk paints are awesome) – Most of my students bought the same set as me (Liquitex Acrylic Paint set of 48 colors), so they didn’t have a tough time matching my colors.
  • Mixing Palette (plastic or even a paper plate with do)
  • Color print out of your full class outline
  • Spray bottle for water or Mini Mister
  • Mod Podge or Matte Gel Medium
  • Palette knife
  • Silicone Blade or Squeegee or old gift card
  • Heat tool
  • Mixed Media brushes (for glue and/or acrylic paints, 18/0, round size 1, one ¾” or 1” is good)
  • Scissors
  • Watercolor paper cut to 8” x 8” & something to tape it to (use painters tape) or 8” x 8” canvas panels (I’m using canvas panels)
  • Optional: gold rings offer some seriously cool bonus effects, but you don’t have to buy it, if you don’t want to. I’m using FolkArt Treasure Gold/5535 Gold
  • If you opt to add the gold circle, something circular to trace, I used a large round wood base, but you could use a saucer, small plate, extra-large round stencil or even the mouth of a cup. Keep in mind I’m getting acrylic paint on mine, so don’t use something nice.

At the time of purchase you will receive an email from Send Owl, if you do not receive an email within 20 minutes of your purchase, please check your trash or spam mail.
