What: Step by Step Guided Watercolor Lesson

This is a random assortment of content and lessons for a free Saturday we happened to have on the calendar. Definitely beginner friendly; we’ll do some fun sketchy pen studies of sheep & add them into a simple farm themed landscape. We will also spend some time working on cactus and sunsets that we were unable to tackle in the first landscape 101 class. We’ll do two sunset studies (one with cactus and one without).
It helps if you’ve take Watercolor 101, but you could totally attend this as a beginner too!
Class Supplies:
· Watercolor paints – starting from scratch? On a budget? Try the new KEFF Watercolor palettes on my website
· Pencil & eraser
· Micron pens 01 (black or brown ) or Sharpie Fine Tip or Carbon Ink Fountain Pen
· Golden High Flow Acrylic Paint in Titanium White
· Palette for mixing colors
· Watercolor brushes Round 18/0, 2 and 6 (or 8)
· Heat tool or hair dryer
· Art tote or rigid surface to tape your watercolor paper down to
· Watercolor paper coldpress 9x12 (our exercises are 1 piece of 9x12 cut into quarters)
· Paper towels or baby wipes
· Pipette or water bottle
