This is the very first piece of extremely expensive leather I ever bought. I literally held off on using it for two years, as I wanted to make the perfect piece with it. It was also the very first leather bag I made! This gorgeous cross-body bag is made with a 4 to 5 oz leather, and the color is a deep espresso brown with hints of mahogany, when the light hits it just right. It's the perfect boho accessory, and I added a horse hair tassel and leather thong with a tiny brass lobster clasp. The hardware used is all antique brass, and the bag is roughly 9" x 10" in size, with removable straps (x2) that are 45" long.
My handbags are completely cut, stitched and made by hand, no machine stitching. I have used the traditional saddle stitch for all stitching and antique brass hardware used throughout. All bags will come in a muslin garment bag, so they can be safely stowed away when not in use.
*Leather is a completely natural material, and as such imperfections are very common. I use every piece of leather, the imperfections and scars are just as beautiful in my eyes, so please carefully look at all the pictures. Best to have no surprises.
